To help local sellers maximise exposure and improve sales performance, Shopee will introduce a new Shopee-Assisted Bidding initiative starting 11 August 2025. Through this programme, eligible products may be automatically nominated into the Shopee Bid Programme with no action needed from the seller.

This initiative is designed to increase seller participation in bidding campaigns, especially for those who may not have the time or expertise to manually nominate products.
 

What is Shopee-Assisted Bidding?

Shopee-Assisted Bidding is a free feature where Shopee automatically helps sellers join its bidding programme by selecting eligible products for them. This means your products can appear in more visible spots on the app (like top search results or homepage placements), helping you get more views and sales without you needing to do anything manually.

How Shopee-Assisted Bidding Works

Starting 11 August 2025, Shopee will automatically select eligible products to join the Shopee Bid Programme every month. If your product qualifies, Shopee may include it in bidding campaigns without you needing to do anything.

You’ll get notified in advance through Push Notifications and Seller Center Announcements.

Your product is eligible if:

• It meets Shopee’s bidding requirements

• Its price is equal to or lower than the program’s Price Floor

If both are true, Shopee may auto-nominate the product for you.

Note: This only applies to local sellers and happens once a month.
 

Do sellers need to do anything?

• No, if you’re happy to let Shopee nominate your products automatically.

• Yes, only if:

  • You don’t want your products auto-nominated, or

  • You previously opted out and now want to rejoin

In either case, just fill out this form to either opt out or rejoin. You only need to fill this form if you want to opt out or rejoin. Otherwise, no action is required.

If your product successfully wins a bid, the selling price used in the nomination will be locked for 24 hours. You won’t be able to cancel or withdraw the nomination during this time. After 24 hours, you can make changes if needed.
